Site Update: Michael Douglas - Time Team's Series Editor.

Michael Douglas - Director - Producer - Series Editor.

Michael has been with the programme since 1999 and is a regular director of individual programmes. He was first credited in the second episode of the 2000 series, Cirencester. He took over as Series Editor for the 2006 series, a job that involves coordinating the Time Team season as a whole.

Michael has kindly allowed me to publish a Questions and Answers he did at the end of 2007. I would like to thank him for this as well as for the permission to use the image of himself filming an episode for the 2009 series.

Site Update: Steve Day - Smallroom - Link Added

I've been very busy the last week or so, and will be for a few more. Unfortunately, updates on this site is suffering, but not for long. Here is a small update for you all which is well worth taking a look at.

A regular name on the credits is Steve Day, Time Team's series composer. His website features a flash music player which allows you to play any of approximately 73 Time Team tracks used for the programme. This site is well worth a visit, especially if you enjoy the music which can be heard behind Tony's voice.

The team are given access to the largest dig in the programme's history as they scour the 42-acre site of the Paradise project in Liverpool to unearth the secrets of the new European Capital of Culture. Interestingly, they discover that a similar state of redevelopment existed 300 years ago as the small seven-street town on a muddy pool was transformed from an industrial backwater into a world-class port. Whilst excavating within the new buildings sites around the Pier Head the team takes a look at the city’s maritime history.
