Thankfully, I have an answer..... I've had word from a very trusted source, and they tell me that the story behind Time Team not being screened in January is due to scheduling. Channel 4 are thinking about airing the show in a prime time slot, probably around 7 O’clock. But because of various commitments where other series are being tied into wider events (including the general election) the 7pm slot isn’t available for Time Team in January or February. We can’t give you the exact date yet for the first episode as it’s still being decided by Channel 4, but it should be at some point in March. The Time Team are well into the development phase of next year’s (2011) series so you haven’t heard the last of them yet!
