1995 Series, Episode 01 - Finlaggan Islay, Western Isles, Scotland.
   
   
     
  Time team are at some buildings which were once at the very centre of a kingdom that once dominated the whole of Western Scotland for over 500 years. The National Museum of Scotland has one final chance to unlock the secret of that kingdom. The lords of the isles. Hoping to find evidence of Scottish lords' inauguration rites from the 14th century, the team discover evidence of ceremonial activity from prehistoric times.  
   
 
1995 Series, Episode 02 - Winterbourne Gunner, Wiltshire.
   
   
     
 

The Time Team face a major stumbling block as they set out to establish the full extent of a Saxon burial ground in the small Wiltshire village of Winterbourne Gunner. The they unearth evidence of a settlement plus an extensive Bronze Age cemetary - including a rare pond barrow. The site has now been scheduled as an important ancient monument by English Heritage.

 
   
 
1995 Series, Episode 03 - Tockenham, Wiltshire.
   
   
     
 

Despite the fact that there are no Roman remains in the Wiltshire village of Tockenham, the 15th-century village church has a small pagan Roman statue embedded in one of its outer walls. What was a statue of a pagan god doing in a Christian church? The discovery of a large Roman villa nearby provides the likely answer: that materials from the villa had been used to construct the church.

 
   
 
1995 Series, Episode 04 - Lambeth Palace, London.
   
   
     
 

In just three days, the archaeologists have a controversial point of history to lay to rest. Could the first site of Roman settlement in London have been at Lambeth, across the river from the well-known City site? The team tries to determine if the first road the Romans built into London crossed the river at Lambeth rather than Tower Bridge, and whether Lambeth and not the City was the site of the original Roman settlement. The team then discover why the Romans may have began in Lambeth but later crossed the river to establish Londinium.

 
   
 
1995 Series, Episode 05 - Hylton Castle Sunderland.
   
   
     
 

The team excavates at the derelict Hylton Castle, located in the middle of a Sunderland housing estate. Redevelopment plans mean that the area around Hylton Castle needs to be excavated to see whether there are any other medieval buildings in its grounds. The team's finds mean the plans will now respect and use the new features.
